Follow the steps below when assigning a new unit button.
Note in order to assign a unit button the user must have the following permissions;
- In the Management Group
- Set as a Management Admin in the group settings
Assigning a Unit Button
- Tap on the Device Management shortcut found on the Today tab
- Select the Units section from the top of the page
- Make sure to filter the Ward type (ie Assisted Living, Memory Care, Independent Living) to ensure you are assigning the unit button to the correct unit type.
- Find and tap on the unit you wish to assign a button to.
- Tap on Assign Button at bottom of this page.
- Follow the prompts on screen. With the physical Sage button in your hand, press the button once.
- After a few short moments you should see a new button appear on the Assign Button screen.
- Tap on the newly displayed button that has appeared and then tap Select at the bottom of the screen.
- Confirm the details of the button assignment on the next screen. Noting the location of the button in the unit.
- Tap Assign Button when you are ready to proceed.
- Once completed, you will see a Button assigned successfully banner appear on the screen.
Once assigned, we recommend testing the button to confirm it is setup properly and working as expected.
Unassigning a Unit Button
- Tap on the Device Management shortcut found on the Today tab
- Select the Units section from the top of the page
- Find and tap on the unit you wish to unassign a button from
- Tap on the button you wish to unassign.
- Tap Unassign Unit Button at the bottom of the screen.
- Confirm by tapping Unassign Unit Button in the pop-up.
- Once completed, you will see a Unit Button unassigned successfully banner appear at the top of the screen.
