Archiving and Placing Residents on Hold

Note in order to add a resident photo to a resident profile the user must have the following permissions;

    1. In the Management Group
    2. Set as a Management Admin in the group settings

If a resident has permanently left the community you can archive their Sage profile. Archiving a resident’s profile automatically deallocates their assigned Sage pendant. It is important to archive a resident when they leave as their profile is linked to billing.

If a resident has temporarily left the community and is expected back you can place them on hold. Residents who are on hold will have a badge in Sage that lets everyone know they are not there. For IL residents, this will allow their unit to skip check-in.

To archive or temporarily place a resident on hold:

  1. Tap on the “Residents” tab

  2. Scroll or use the search function to find the resident.

  3. Tap on the resident’s name to open their profile

  4. Tap the pencil icon in the top right corner and scroll to the bottom

  5. Tap the “Archive Resident” button to archive the resident if the resident no longer resides at the community

  6. Tap the "Place Resident on Hold" button to to temporarily place the resident on hold if the resident will be on temporary leave from the community

Note Archiving a resident will un-assign their pendant. You will need to double confirm that you intend to archive the resident and un-assign their pendant to proceed. After the pendant has been un-assigned it can be reused at the community for another resident.
